Sometimes at Undercover we like to introduce you to new things. So when I tell you one of the most spectacular voices of the 21st century, Sharon Van Etten, has moved to Jagjagwar Records, you should pay attention!
You see, Brooklyn based Van Etten has released two albums, and we in the office think they’re tops. So when news comes through that she’s joining a label that includes Black Mountain, Okkervil River, Bon Iver and many many more great bands, we get happy.
Van Etten is currently working on her third record, but don’t hold your breath. She likes to take her time and it’s currently expected to make its way to stores in “early 2012”.
Still, we thought we’d give you the heads up.
