Channel V in Australia last night debuted the new show 'The V Independent Countdown'.
The show will air every Tuesday night from 11pm and be replayed on Wednesdays at midday.The first show featured music from P'Nau, COG, Bluejuice, Mercy Arms and Ghostwood.
The host for the show is Vera, a rocking granny. In a statement, Nick Littlemore from Pnau says "We've been interviewed by all sorts but never by a granny! She's a sweetheart".
"Switch on the ol' box pets, pour yourself a cup of V and join me for the latest and greatest in rising stars in Australian music" says Vera.
The show is sponsored by (you guessed it) V energy drink.
