My Bloody Valentine are planning on releasing their long awaited follow up to 1991's classic 'Loveless' in digital format.
"At the moment, all I can say is that Kevin is getting the band back together and they will go into the studio next month to work on the new record," the band's manager Vinita Joshi told Billboard."The plan is that they will release the album themselves via the Internet, but there will also probably be a vinyl release."
Reports of the album first surfaced in January with singer Kevin Shields at the time saying he was ready to make another great album. He has said in the past that he was not willing to make another album for the sake of it.
Regarding the band's rumoured appearance at Coachella, Joshi said "If the band had been booked to play any summer festivals, I'd know about it. We'll see how the summer shows go first."
