Queen guitarist Brian May is finally set to complete his PhD, more than three decades after giving it away for his band.
May attended the Imperial College London in the late '60s and early '70s, and was on the verge of completing his doctoral thesis in Astronomy when the success of Queen took over his life.Now, it's being reported by NME that May is again looking toward the stars. His specific area of research concerns zodiacal dust, tiny particles which originate from comets and asteroids. NME quotes science writer Marcus Chown, who told the Independent, "Brian mentioned that he was returning to the thesis when we appeared on a radio show together".
