Static X recently clocked up some decent frequent flyer miles on the Gigantour world tour, but does that mean they're ready to rest? Hell no!
The band are already thinking of the follow up to the brutal fifth record 'Cannibal'.Speaking to Time Off magazine, singer Wayne Static said "After the Australian tour we're gonna go home right away and start writing the next record. I plan on working very hard on that and hopefully we'll have the next record out in the middle of next year.
"I haven't actually written anything but I know exactly what I want to do. I have a lot of great ideas brewing in my head and I'm really looking forward to getting started on it, actually."
As well as the fans have reacted to this record, it was their debut 'Wisconsin Death Trip' that went platinum in the U.S. and saw the band become virtual metal superstars for a blink of an eye.
