Turbonegro guitarist Rune Rebellion has left the band to focus on his day job at Universal, as well as looking after his own label and the band's label Scandinavian Leather Recordings.
Rebellion played his last show with the band in October at Folken in Stavanger, Norway.He leaves the band after 19 years (several of which the band was on hiatus).
He left a message on their official website stating "The decision was made this Summer, realizing I hadn't had time off at all from work or touring for three years. I will continue to be involved with the band on the management side of things, as well as running Turbonegro's record label Scandinavian Leather Recordings. This will also give me time to put more effort into my day job at Universal, where I now have been given the opportunity to set up my own label."
Turbonegro will continue to blow your minds without him, although there has been no announcement yet as to weather or not he will be replaced.
