Kosheen have been thanked by the Federation of Jewish Communies in Serbia and Montenegro after cancelling a concert scheduled to take place in a former Nazi death camp.
The band were scheduled to play at the Poseidon Hall, which is on the grounds of the former Sajmiste concentration camp, where 48,000 jews were killed.The band cancelled when they found out and they were unable to find a replacement venue in time, but hope to reschedule soon.
In a letter to "Mr Kosh", Aleksandar Necak, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Serbia and Montenegro told the band they "appreciate" their decision to cancel and "fully understand the situation" which saw them scheduled to play at the venue.
