The Vines will record a 4th album.
After a rollercoaster career, the band has reactivated to start work on their forth album in Los Angeles for Melbourne's Ivy League Records.Producer Rob Schnapf will drive production of the album from mid-November.
"We're really excited to be with Ivy League, " says Craig Nicholls of the band's new label. "We are already friends, and they love music as much as we do. We really want to make an amazing album and can't wait to start recording. We're ready. Really ready, and we're going to being able to tour more this time as well."
The Vines hit a roadblock with their career when lead singer Craig Nicholls' unruly behaviour was diagnosed as Aspergers Syndrome. It stalled the impact of the second album 'Winning Days'. By the time the third album 'Vision Valley' had arrived, fans had wandered away from The Vines, despite it being on par with their debut.
The Vines debut album 'Highly Evolved' sold 1.5 million worldwide.
