Former Moloko front woman Roisin Murphy has been seriously injured on stage in Moscow.
The sassy Irish lass was mid-show when she slipped and hit a chair... with her eye socket.She was immediately rushed off stage and to a local hospital, before being flown back to the U.K. to have an operation.
According to an official statement from Murphy, she has not lost any vision in the eye and will make a full recovery. There was no mention of her pride, which might be permanently damaged.
The remaining dates on her European tour will be rescheduled "for later in the year", but her U.K. and Ireland dates beginning on November 26 "should" remain unaffected.
Murphy left Moloko to pursue a solo career in 2004 where she took the dance elements of her former band and focused on them, making pure electro-pop music.
