Silverchair Win Best Rock Album

Silverchair's 'Young Modern' has taken away for award for Best Rock Album at the 2007 ARIA Awards.

Over the years, Silverchair have had 43 ARIA nominations.

'Young Modern' debuted at No 1 and has spent more than half the year on the chart.

To date, it has sold more than 170,000 units.

Silverchair beat Airbourne, Grinspoon, Jet and Powderfinger to take home the award.
