Musicians have been caught up in the ongoing Southern Californian fires.
Southern California has been ravaged by wildfires. The area is well populated by celebrities but was also the birthplace of pop-punk and nu-metal. MTV has reported that members of bands thought to be affected by the fires include Angels and Airwaves/ ex-Blink-182 singer Tom DeLonge, System of a Down's Serj Tankian, P.O.D., Jewel, Dave Mustaine, Augustana, Jason Mraz, Louis XIV and former members of Rocket From the Crypt.One of the first fires to break out was near the home of Chrisitan metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying's singer Tim Lambesis. Lambesis and his wife have been evacuated twice so far. He told MTV, "I grabbed important photos, my dog, documents. I have a studio at my house, so I have 15 hard drives with recordings that I had to pile up along with three computers. It was hectic. My wife grabbed her wedding dress."
