One-time hip hop producing wunderkind Pharrell Williams has almost finished a new N.E.R.D album.
The group never reached the dizzying heights of his personal producing efforts with Chad Hugo as The Neptunes but they did find success over two albums. N.E.R.D saw the duo team up with friend Shay Haley of their debut album 2001's 'In Search Of' (which won the esteemed US Shortlist Music Prize) and 2003's 'Fly Or Die'.While he'd announced the band's demise in 2005, and then retracted the epitaph, Pharrell has recently told NME "We're almost done with the album - we're like one song away. We plan to release it next March or April."
He noted that the album goes back to "what we do". He then added, "It also has a lot to do with pretty girls." That's what they do.
