A trashy UK gossip site claims that Amy Winehouse has been arrested in Norway.
The troubled but hugely talented soul singer has just embarked on her latest tour, in the hope of capitalising on the monumental fame accrued from the amazing 'Back To Black' album, her live performances, and her tabloid tumbles.According to gossip site Holy Moly, Winehouse has been arrested in Norway in the earliest stages of the tour. She is scheduled to play the Peer Gynt Salen in Bergen tonight. The site's "unconfirmed reports" from "sources close" to the star say the arrest was due to "possession [narcotics rather than demonic, we assume] or domestic voilence [sic] - OR BOTH".
While it's not unlikely, since Winehouse has been photographed following the occasional bloody fracas and is routinely associated with drugs, we might wait until the arrest is confirmed by a source that doesn't advertise itself as providing "Idiotic Celebrity Updates".
