Previews for the Australian production of the Monty Python stage show Spamalot will commence on November 20.
The hit Broadway musical will commence its Australian season in Melbourne at Her Majesty's Theatre on December 1.The show is based on the 1975 Monty Python movie 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'.
The Australian cast will feature Bille Brown as King Arthur, Lucinda Shaw as The Lady of the Lake, Ben Lewis and Sir Dennis Galahad, Stephen Hall as Sir Lancelot, Derek Metzger as Patsy, Jason Langley as Sir Robin, Mark Conaghan as Prince Herbert and David Whitney as Sir Bedevere.
The show premiered in 2005. More than 3 million people have seen it from the productions in New York, Las Vegas, London and the American tour.
The show recently celebrated its 1000th performance on Broadway.
