Adelaide melodic rock hopefuls Mere Theory launch 'Catalan Atlas' to raves.
The national glossies have been cheering the bold and dynamic post-hardcore found on their debut full length.Their hometown paper The Advertiser cheered their "very accomplished" debut. Rolling Stone applauds their "kinetically charged rhythm section, punk-inflected hooks and [singer] Chris Mellow's soaring vocals", calling them "one of the most inventive forces in Australian rock". Blunt Magazine gushed even more, saying the band "single-handedly restored my faith in Australian rock" with "the most impressive debut" of 2007.
