Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah battles with his own group.
It's safe to say that Ghostface Killah is the most consistently talented member of Wu-Tang Clan, especially after the back-to-back genius of 2006's 'Fishscale' and 2007's 'More Fish'. His latest solo effort 'Big Dough Rehab' is slated for release on December 4, the same day as Wu-Tang's long-awaited 'The 8 Diagrams'. And, according to an extended MTV interview, Ghostface isn't happy.Wu-Tang pushed their release date back, and Ghostface railed against the hierarchy. "...I'm not [mad at] all the members," he said, "It's not based on the members, but the hierarchy at Wu-Tang Clan is on some bullshit. They trying to fuck around and make me push my album back and doing all this." Ghostface claims that tour monies have been withheld, saying, "It's a battle right now."
He said that the 'Rock The Bells' tour and Loud Records' Steve Rifkind delayed the release of 'Big Dough Rehab'. He noted that his participation in 'The 8 Diagrams' was minimal, saying '"niggas better pay my fucking money. Matter of fact, they can keep the money- just get me out of their life right now. They can keep that money, it's all good now. I don't even wanna talk about it no more."
While he sounds exasperated with the Wu, fellow Clan-members Raekwon and Method Man are both set to appear on 'Big Dough Rehab'.
