Australia's Eskimo Joe this week kicks off their US tour from New York.
The band arrived in America for a series of shows, the first being a showcase at the CMJ Festival on Wednesday, as well as a Mercury Lounge gig that same day.Eskimo Joe will spend the next week doing the East Coast before trekking back across the other side to complete their tour in San Diego on November 14.
Their multi-platinum album 'Black Fingernails, Red Wine' was released in the US though Rykodisc on September 25.
The album is the first release for the band in America. It is their third album in Australia.
'Black Fingernails, Red White' spent 4 weeks at number one on the ARIA chart in Australia this year. It has sold 4 x platinum for the band at home.
