An interesting conundrum for Undercover's debut album of the week, two of us have chosen the same album; Radiohead's 'In Rainbows', but who can argue? It simply has to be album of the week.
Casting aside all the hype surrounding their genius methods of sale, this album is actually pretty good.As someone who is a big fan of Radiohead when they're on fire, but more often than not left dumbfounded as to what exactly this band is trying to say, I was pleasantly carried through this record.
Contrary to the standard album formula, this record starts off big and almost curls up into a little ball taking the listener with it.
It's a tad short, over and done with in little more than half an hour, but it says all it needs to say, doesn't repeat what the band has done in the past and on the other hand it gave two big middle fingers to the music industry, while still earning them more money than most of us will see in a lifetime.
