Richard Kruspe of Rammstein has launched his new band 'Emigrate' after more than a dedicated decade in the German industrial behemoths.
Emigrate are a faster paced nu-metal (which let's face it, isn't that "nu" anymore) style band with lyrics in English. The project was produced by Jacob Hellner and Stefan Glauman, who have both worked with Rammstein on and off throughout the band's career.
The rest of the line up features Arnaud Giraux (bass), Henka Johansson (drums), Sascha Moser (Logic programs editor), and Olsen Involtini (guitar & vocal producer), with Kruspe on guitar and lead vocals.
We're not entirely sure what a "logic programs editor" does, but apparently it warrants a position in the band.
The track listing for the self-titled album is:
1. Emigrate
2. Wake Up
3. My World
4. Let Me Break
5. In My Tears
6. Babe
7. New York City
8. Resolution
9. Temptation
10. This Is What
11. You Can't Get Enough
It will not be released until January.
In other news, Rammstein have gathered together to write their next album after a two year break. With any luck, we'll see them back on the road in support of the record.
