The Rolling Stones will play for Bill Clinton's 60th birthday.
The show will be a fund raiser at the Beacon Theater in New York on August 19th. Don't check Ticketmaster for tickets. This one is "invite only"The performance will be filmed by director Martin Scorsese, best known for his work on Taxi Driver, Goodfellas and Gangs of New York.
Musically, Scorsese also made the classic rock flick The Last Waltz, Bob Dylan's 2005 biopic No Direction Home and The Blues mini series.
In other Stones news, Van Morrison and Dave Matthews Band have been announced as support acts on select US dates.
Matthews will perform on the October 17th date in Seattle and October 20 in El Paso. Morrison will join The Stones on November 3rd in Vancouver and November 5th in Oakland, California.
