Sydney rock band Dirty Skanks' drummer Col Hatchman is officially the world's loudest drummer.
His drumming was recorded at a massive 137.2 decibels. By comparison, prolonged exposure to sounds 85 to 90 dB or higher (around the volume of busy city traffic) can be damaging to your hearing.Hatchman's drumming is the equivalent of listening to a jet plane take off from 100 feet away.
He pulled off the amazing feat at the Northern Star Hotel in Newcastle, NSW on Friday August 4, where Guinness officials were present to witness it.
