The new Britney Spears album will be called 'Blackout'.
Spears has announced at her website that her 5th album will be released in November.Songwriters on the album include Kara DioGuardi (Kelly Clarkson's 'Walkaway, Kylie's 'Spinning Around') and Swedish team Bloodshy & Avant who wrote 'Toxic',
According to her label Jive Records "the album title, Blackout refers to blocking out negativity and embracing life fully and captures the dance-friendly nature of the songs".
While Britney gets more press these days for her bizarre antics, she is one of the world's most successful female artists. Her debut '...Baby One More Time' sold more than 14 million units in the USA. To date, she has sold more than 83 million albums worldwide.
'Blackout' by Britney will be released on November 17th.
