Kid Rock has bought into the 50 Cent / Kanye West album sell-off, challenging the rappers to a long-term sales competition and claiming he'll sell more records than the two put together.
Rock reckons his new album, 'Rock & Roll Jesus', will get closer to 10 million sales than either 'Curtis' or 'Graduation', though he concedes that it's unlikely to match the first week figures of either album.West recently won the battle with Fiddy by selling more copies of his album in the first week of their simultaneous release.
Rock says, "I bet, in the long run, I sell more records than both of those two put together.
"Because of the options that are available for getting records out nowadays, I might not be able to move 12 million records, but I do think I have a shot at having a diamond record."
