Phil Spector will require yet another legal team for his forthcoming retrial.
It will be the third set of lawyers Spector has gone through - he fired the first and the second resigned. His most recent lead defence attorney, Roger Rosen, told a Californian court that he wouldn't be returning to Spector's counsel for the second trial, which was confirmed to go ahead by the district attorney's office.
The only remaining member of Spector's legal counsel will be Christopher Plourd, though he indicated that he's likely to jump ship in due course, explaining, "I'm the last man standing. Mr. Spector is looking for a new lawyer."
His first trial ended in a mistrial after the jury became deadlocked 10-2, with the majority supporting a conviction for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson in 2003.
