Amid constant rumours of a reunion, a Best Of album is on the way for The Libertines.
While celebrity train-wreck Pete Doherty just released a new album and plans a tour for Babyshambles and Carl Barat's Dirty Pretty Things announce a new single, Rough Trade will release The Libertine's Best Of 'Time For Heroes'. The thirteen track compilation of tunes from their two albums, singles and b-sides will be released in the UK on October 29 and in the US on December 4.Babyshambles sophomore album 'Shotter's Nation' has just been released and the band have a UK tour lined up through November with grime prince Dizzee Rascal and Scots troublemakers The View.
Dirty Pretty Things reportedly have a second album of tracks ready to go, and have recently released the track 'Radio Song' from their work on the soundtrack to the new film directed by hangdog 'Friends' star David Schwimmer called 'Run, Fatboy, Run'. The film was co-written by and stars 'Shaun Of The Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' mastermind Simon Pegg.
