Justin Timberlake has written and produced not one but two songs on the forthcoming Duran Duran album 'Red Carpet Massacre'.
As previously reported Timberlake co-wrote and produced the albums first single 'Falling Down'. As it turns out, he has also shared chores on a second track titled 'Nite-Runner'.The Timberlake sessions were recorded at New York's Manhattan Center Studios. Producer Timbaland was also involved with the 'Nite-Runner' and also produced two more tracks 'Skin Divers' and 'Zoom In'.
Duran Duran will launch the album with 9 shows over a two week period at Manhattan's Barrymore Theater.
"Staging a run on Broadway is something that we've often talked about over the years - but the time has never seemed right until now," singer Simon LeBon said in a statement. "We started work on `Red Carpet Massacre' in New York in September of last year, so it feels fitting to be launching it here, just down the road from the studio where we did those first sessions with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland."
'Red Carpet Massacre' will be released on November 13, 2007.
