A week after topping the Forbes Music Rich List for the last financial year, the Rolling Stones have been officially accredited as having performed the world's most successful music tour.
The Guinness World Record came for the band's 'A Bigger Bang' world tour, which earned them $437 million since kicking off in 2005.Madonna won the ladies' prize, her $200 million-grossing 'Confessions' tour making her the world's most successful female touring artist.
This year's edition of the Guinness Book Of World Records comes out on Friday.
