Tickets to Iron Maiden's first Australian tour in 15 years went in minutes this morning after going on sale at 9am.
Promoter Paul Dainty said "Ticketek advised me this morning that they have had the longest queues at their ticket outlets for any on-sale for ages."Iron Maiden will travel to Australia with 60 crew and more than 12 tons of equipment.
Lead singer Bruce Dickinson, a qualified pilot, will fly the plane for more than 50,000 miles of the world tour. Dickinson is an Airline Captain for Astraeus Airlines.
A second Melbourne show went on sale at 10.30am this morning.
