Talent from across the Asian region will have a springboard to international recognition in 2008, thanks to Sutasi.
Sutasi is a platform designed for both the songwriter and performer.The events in 2008 will break Asia into three regions - Southeast Asia, East Asia and South Asia.
Submissions are now underway to find talent for the first event that will be held in Bangkok in February for the Southeast Asia region.
Further events are planned for China and India later in the year.
Unlike reality TV driven talent shows, Sutasi is about the music. The Sutasi search is for real songwriters and real performers, unlike the karoekee style format of Idol.
Sutasi was officially launched in Bangkok last Thursday by founder and President Colleen Zulian.
