Look out for cameo appearances from Elvis Costello and Mos Def in the new Will Ferrell movie 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby'.
The biopic about the North Carolinian NASCAR driver follows the life of the Americna national hero who so often managed to finish his races in the number one position.As a celeb of the racing circuit, Bobby often fraternized with the rich and famous from other entertainment areas, hence the cameos from Costello and Mos Def.
Mos Def has had a long line of credits in movies dating back to 1988 for the TV show God Bless The Child. He has appeared in Spin City, NYPD Blue and the Chappelle Show as well as the character of Left Ear in the movie The Italian Job. He will also play the same character the sequel The Brazilian Job, due for release in 2007.
Costello is also no stranger to the big screen. His appearances on film include De-Lovely, Laurel Canyon, Gross Pointe Blank and Austin Powers.
