Kanye West has derided MTV over what he sees as their exploitation of Britney Spears at Sunday's Video Music Awards.
Britney was a sad sight at the ceremony, as she moved ungracefully around the stage in her underwear whilst poorly miming her new single 'Gimme More'. The performance has been met with a mixture of pity and revulsion by the music world.West told Sirius Satellite Radio, "Man, they were just trying to get ratings, and they knew she wasn't ready and they exploited her."
The rapper, whose new album 'Graduation' was released this week, went on to complain about Justin Timberlake being asked to perform on the main stage instead of him.
"So why do you have me do 'Stronger' in a suite, but you end the show with Justin?" Kanye whined. "I looked at Fiddy like, yo, we need to help each other as much as possible."
