Turkey (the country, not the bird) is going to be prepresented at Popkomm in Berlin for the first time in 2007.
The country, which has been going through massive progress in recent years will have the chance to showcase its rich musical heritage, as well as show their industry off at the event.Among the exhibitors here will be the Turkish copyright collection society MESAM, musician and producer Leslie Mandoki from the 70s group 'Dschinghis Khan' and who has worked with Lionel Richie and Phil Collins.
Mandoki is going to show off his music production company 'Red Rock Production' and 'Park Studios'.
Anyone else hoping to exhibit themselves and their business at Popkomm will have to wait until 2008 I'm afraid, all spots have been booked out!
