When you think of Wu-Tang Clan and possible songs they could tackle, The Beatles' 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is not one that jumps to mind, but the Clan are planning on giving it a shot.
If that's not enough of a surprise, they have enlisted the help of Dhani Harrison, the 29 year old son of the late Beatle guitarist, George Harrison. The song will simply be titled 'Gently Weeps' and will appear on Wu Tang's 5th album '8 Diagrams'.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, The RZA said "He's the biggest Wu-Tang fan in the world. I told him I would be honoured if he played his father's song."
Also appearing on the track will be Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante.
The original song appeared on The Beatles' 1968 self titled album, with Eric Clapton on guitar.
