French electronica gods Daft Punk are planning on releasing their first ever live album, hot on the heels of universal worship of their current tour.
The show will be available in single and double disc format, with the double disc version including the encore of the show, which was recorded at Bercy Stadium, Paris on June 14 this year.It was the first time the duo had played in their home city in a staggering ten years.
Oliver Gondry will direct a video of a live version of 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' made up of 250 audience cameras shooting the song at their recent show in Brooklyn, NY.
"We were inspired by the Beastie Boys' 'Awesome, I Fuckin' Shot That!' and tried to do that in a four-minute video." Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter told Rolling Stone.
At the moment there are no plans for a DVD accompaniment, and there is no title or release date.
