The Cure returned to Australia this week for what was only their 5th tour in a three decade career.
The line-up features founder Robert Smith with Simon Gallop who joined in 1979, left in1982 and rejoined1985, Jason Cooper who joined in 1995 and Porl Thompson who has been in the band since 1985.Although a new album is imminent, The Cure kept this show to the greatest hits plus a few surprises. The biggest surprise for the die-hard fans was the third encore, made up of songs from the first album UK and first US releases
