Doug Fieger, frontman of The Knack, has undergone brain surgery in Los Angeles.
A spokesman said that the surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center successfully removed two brain tumours, with the singer expected to make a full recovery.Fieger is the man responsible for the song 'My Sharona'. The song was released in 1979 and was the biggest song in the United States that year. Whilst we have no empirical data to back up the following claim, it is widely believed that 'My Sharona' has single-handedly supported the careers of terrible DJs worldwide.
