Australia's favourite ska-fusion rascals The Cat Empire return with album number four and a record attempt.
The Cat Empire had their homecoming performance at Splendour In The Grass 07, but they're preparing big things for the release of their comeback album 'So Many Nights'. Fresh off a world tour, and television performances earlier in the year on the US Late Show circuit, The Cat Empire bring their saucy grooves back home.In 1996 they sold out a record seven consecutive shows at Sydney's Metro Theatre and a decade later they return to attempt eight shows in seven days from October 14. The forthcoming tour will also include festival appearances, three shows at Melbourne's Prince Of Wales, and an AFL Grand Final Eve performance at Federation Square.
It's all to celebrate album number four, 'So Many Nights', due out on September 22. Tickets for the tour go on sale August 13.
