Iron Maiden front man, author, fencer, radio presenter and pilot Bruce Dickinson will be in Romania later this month to commentate the 2007 Aero Grand Prix event.
Dickinson's involvement with the Aero-GP has been long running. He has hosted television documentaries on the event.The Aero-GP is a motor sport to make both F1 and motorcycle grand prix's look like child's play. Competitors race at the same time in jet planes reaching up to 500km/hr (as opposed to other aero-races where competitors race separately).
The event will take place in Mamaia, Romania on August 25 and 26.
Dickinson learnt to fly in 1993 and was a commercial airline pilot for British World, flying to West Africa and Europe.
