Lily Allen refutes claims that she kicked a photographer, and hints at her new album.
Reports suggested that the UK upstart had kicked a paparazzo who had asked her to pose for a photo when she arrived at Melbourne Airport. Now Allen's tour manager has said there was no kick, but there was an incident involving a male photographer. They stated that the kicking claims were "completely untrue" yet mentioned that the photographer "was jumping all over everyone. He was really in her face." They continue, cryptically, "He was asked by two tour managers to back off, and then he was yelling stuff out. No one kicked anyone."
Allen has written a new blog about her recent appearances at Glastonbury and Fuji Rock, and has hinted at the follow-up to her 2006 debut 'Alright, Still'. She says she's been recording in New York and announced a new track called 'Steve From Accounts'. She cheekily suggested the album will be titled "Three singles and other songs , plus itunes exclusive".
Looking and sounding very cheery, Allen leaves Australia for a string of European festivals through August before another North American tour in September.
