Missy Higgins will embark on a massive national tour in November and December.
The 16-date tour, which winds around the continent from Cairns to Perth and back to Wollongong, will be called '...For One Night Only', with the promise that there will indeed only be one show in each city.The songstress has obviously forgiven You Am I frontman Tim Rogers for knocking her out backstage at the Falls Festival a couple of years ago, as he'll be opening the shows. Undoubtedly, his appearance coincides with a strict "no bear-hugs" condition in the tour agreement. Rogers releases a new solo album, 'The Luxury Of Hysteria', in September.
Missy said she was particularly excited to be playing in regional areas as well. The tour includes dates in Mullumbimby and Port Macquarie.
And as is de rigueur for tours nowadays, the shows will be carbon neutral.
Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9am Tuesday 14 August.
