Uber-producer Timbaland has put an end to the remarkable UK chart reign of Rihanna's 'Umbrella' single.
'Umbrella' reached the 10-week landmark last week, making Rihanna only the seventh artist to sit atop the UK singles chart for 10 weeks or more.Timbaland's grammatically challenged tune 'The Way I Are' assumes the number one position this week. The track, a collaboration with R&B vocalist Keri Hilson, follows on from the number one success of April's 'Give It To Me', which featured Nelly Furtado.
'Umbrella' spends its 11th week in the chart at number three, with 'Foundations' by twenty-year-old singer songwriter Kate Nash claiming the number two position.
