October 1 will be a good day for Bob Dylan fans around the world as a new 3 CD retrospective will be released into stores.
The track listing for the compilation will be decided by fans who vote for their favourite Dylan tracks on www.dylan07.com.The three CD set will have 51 tracks on it, spanning five decades of Dylan's music.

This 'Dylan' set will provide a comprehensive introduction to an important body of work that continues to impact our culture and attract multitudes of new fans each year."
Both an 18 track best of and a deluxe edition featuring a cloth cover and an extended booklet will be released at the same time.
In 1978, one of the world's most critically acclaimed best-of's was released by Dylan, 'Masterpieces'. It had 39 tracks, but only spanned from '62 - '74. This was also never released outside the far east.
