Lily Allen was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault.
The allegation is that Allen punched a male in is 40s outside the Wardour Club in London's Soho district on March 13 this year. She was questioned and released on bail. The alleged victim is believed to be a photographer.A statement from London police read, "At 9.30am yesterday, a 21-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment. She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return on a date in late July."
