Seminal 90s UK rock act The Verve will reunite, according to frontman Richard Ashcroft.
Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury will reunite for a tour in November. The band split in 1999 when Ashcroft and McCabe's musical relationship became unworkable.A statement on Ashcroft's website explains that the band were in London last week recording new material, and that "after a summer break they will return to the studio to complete their next album."
They said they were "getting back together for the joy of the music."
