Blur's Dave Rowntree and Alex James have said that the band will record together again.
Speaking to broadsheet 'The Independent', the band were responding to an article published in 'The Mirror' that the band would reconvene in the studio in November, possibly with exiled guitarist Graham Coxon.Rowntree said, "We will spend one week recording and see what happens. We're dipping our toes in the water. We have not made any decision but we'll see how we feel and if the spark is there."
James hinted that the band were open to Coxon's return, adding, "I do sincerely hope [there's a reunion] but there's no point doing it unless all of us want to because that was what was so good about it. I'm hoping that it'll happen but there's nothing set in stone."
Coxon has previously indicated that he would "think about" returning to Blur if the others wanted him to.
