ABC frontman Martin Fry is up to some Hollywood shenanigans.
The 80's pop star has been invited to coach actor Hugh Grant on how to be an 80's pop star for the upcoming movie 'Music and Lyrics By'.The movie is about a washed up 80's rock star who is commissioned to write a hit song for a teen group with a couple of days notice.
Billboard reports that ABC's Fry was brought in as a coach to instruct Grant on how to act like a pop star.
Fry has also recorded a song for the soundtrack.
He is also involved in another film project titled 'The Lost Trek which will include new songs from his band ABC.
ABC also has a new album on the way with the working title 'Traffic'. It will be their first album since 'Skyscraping' from 1997.
