Sinister electronic punks Midnight Juggernauts plan 12-inch, international tour and debut album.
After reigning in plaudits for the mesmerising and nasty dancefloor tunes on their first two EPs, 2005's 'Raised By Wolves' and 2006's 'Secrets Of The Universe', Melbourne's Midnight Juggernauts branch out into the world. MTV2 UK/Europe have already slated the band as one of their "artists we're tipping for the top in 2007."The duo have prepared themselves by enlisting a permanent drummer in Daniel Stricker. Their June/July trip will incorporate eighteen dates through London, Paris, Manchester and Barcelona then in Beijing and Shanghai. They have been included on French festival Les Eurockeennes alongside AIR, TV On The Radio, Arcade Fire, Klaxons, and Bonde do Role and will do shows with Parisian electro-punks Scenario Rock and spooky UK new-wave act Twisted Charm as part of a Vice tour.
Midnight Juggernauts will release a 12-inch dubbed 'Road To Recovery' on French label Institubes to coincide with the tour. It will be simultaneously released on Inertia in Australia on June 16. The band return to Australia to launch their debut full-length via their own independent label Siberia Records on August 4.
