Finnish gore-metal legends Lordi have begun shooting a horror film, which will be a "traditional modern horror" with plenty of "horrific scenes".
The film will be titled 'Dark Floors' and will be in English. The public's knowledge of the plot is somewhat filled with gaps, but front man Mr. Lordi said from Cannes, "Lordi goes to the twilight zone, that is pretty much (what) you can say."They began filming this month and will first release the album in Finland at the end of 2007.
Lordi won the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens in 2006, much to the surprise of people all over the world, with the song 'Hard Rock Hallelujah'.
Singer Mr. Lordi was a special effects designer before forming the horror-themed band.
