Sydney grunge band The Vines have announced their first official shows for 2006.
They will play one show in Melbourne and one show in Sydney in September, slowly easing back into the live circuit after front man Craig Nicholls was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome in 2004.The band have appeared over the weekend as the secret band at Splendour in the Grass, after being billed as "????", as well as playing a secret show in Sydney under the name Joe Dirt at the Annandale last week.
The band play the Annandale in Sydney on September 8, and the Corner Hotel in Melbourne on September 9. Tickets for both shows are available from the venues from 9am August 14.
