Australian rock's biggest excuse to party, the Jack Awards, is on again in Sydney on 15 May.
The fourth annual Jack Awards, very generously sponsored by that the stalwart rock star tipple of choice Jack Daniels, are back for another year, celebrating the nation's sweatiest live bands.Categories include Best Live Band, Venue and Newcomer, as well as categories for Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer and "Male" and "Female". Acts nominated this year include Red Riders and Hilltop Hoods, with Wolfmother picking up seven nominations (including, of course, Best Dressed).
Performing live and rowdy at the ceremony this year are some of Australian live music legends as well as some extra-hot new things. See You Am I, Howling Bells, Beasts Of Bourbon, Airbourne, and Mercy Arms. The night will also include an all-star jam coordinated by Angry Anderson.
